I uninstalled the game not too long ago, I was waiting for Spider-Man to drop but I don't think there's a reason to wait anymore. Sad.

Man, I'm just sick of the big money in the gaming industry being obsessed with these mmo service games. I don't even get the impression that its what gamers particularly want - MMOs just aren't what they used to be. There won't be another golden age of World of Warcraft. But they won't stop pumping out these MMOs... MMOs that seem to focus on repetitive progression designed to give the player the dopamine hits that keep them coming back even when the game is mediocre - the kinda stuff that seems like a mobile game except with more elaborate mechanics and better graphics. IMO thats the worst trend in gaming, games designed specifically to make you addicted to them. Unfortunately it seems like if you wanna play grand strategy, or experience engaging narratives, or play complex RPGs, or anything that isnt rinse-and-repeat MMOs and battle royales and MOBAs and sports game garbage - indie devs are the only place you'll find it. I've been waiting too long for a Stellaris meets Elite Dangerous type game - grand strategy awesomeness but with a feature that lets you play in your own space battles Elite Dangerous style. Like Mount and Blade in space. Steep learning curve with endless ways to tinker with your empire/ships/strategies and tactics, you know? Something that lets you manage and influence the world building on a macro scsle but then allows you to zoom in and engage with that world in a small scsle first-person way as well. I'm reminded of some driving game I played when I was a kid (dont recall the game) that allowed you to drive around and do missions in cities you imported from your SimCity save files - why isn't THAT a trend? It wasn't that well executed but the idea, I thought, was magical. Surely a game like that would be a massive hit if it was done right - why is there apparently not enough demand or money for something like that to be made, something gaming has never seen before but I have to think people would love, but they'll keep making these squad bases MMOs like Destiny, Anthem, Marvel, Outriders, The Division, etc etc same thing over and over and over.... I mean the sheer amount of money spent releasing COD/battlefield or sports games over and over probably dwarfs the kind od investment it would take to try and make something genuinely new and unheard of, you know?

Theyre just trying to milk people out of all they possibly can to recover costs by flat out lieing. Anybody who continues to pay for this stuff is a flat out moron and deserves to be suckered out of their money. We can't keep warning you idiots.

I really wanted to love this game but honestly the devs are seriously out of touch, why the hell do they think that cosmetics or gear is what players want when there's nothing to use them for? The only reason anyone is leveling up their characters is because that's all there is to do, there's nothing to use your high level, fully decked out character on besides the same grindy, boring, lazy and outright aggravating missions that involve killing the exact same enemies over and over again, which does nothing but make you despise this game even more. I appreciate the Hawkeye content but we should have gotten them way before this point, at the snail's pace they are going it will be years before we get the game that SE and CD said it would be but it seems like that's not going to happen smh. This game is unfinished and was advertised on false promises, I don't want this game to fail but at the same time if it does it will be well deserved.

I have a friend who is working for SE, specifically the Marvel's Avenger branch. When I told him about how rough people is regarding the game and the lack of support I see talked online, he just told me: "What are you talking about? The game is doing ok" One, he always looks to the glass being half full and two, he is somewhat blind when it comes to superheroes...

Tomorrow is Clint Barton dlc and hope they announce the next dlc, we know that spiderman is exclusive to PlayStation which it sucks if marvel avengers developers do that the game is going to die faster than expect I hope tomorrow they confirmed if spiderman coming to pc snd Xbox isn’t fair.

Why do these people not realize that a road map is pretty useless unless you have gas in the car?

By far the biggest problem it has is the embarrassing variety of enemies. It's just AIM soldiers and a bunch of robots. BORING AS FUCK. This game clearly wasn't finished when they released it.

I'm tired of road maps. Don't tell us what you're going to do, tell us what you've done. The road to hell is paved with good intentions and this includes road maps. It's all empty promises.

So I really have to suspect that they're actually trying to disenfranchise players to the game. Hear me out.... the actual infrastructure to the game is worth more especially when applied to an actual profitable IP. It's pretty clear that the game has little more than flat lined at this point and paying devs to work on what is clearly a dead project is a massive waste of resources. My money is that they're actively trying for a benchmark that they can shut down the game and abandon ship on so that they can move on.

So far, their actions have not backed up their statements. I'm not one who wants people to fail and I hope that this game can be turned around, but I have yet to see anything to convince me that will be the case.

A greedily monetised, half-finished, grindy, live service, movie tie-in with no actual likeness licenses entering into a heavily saturated live-service looter market wherein the genre already has next to no good-will doing poorly? I called this as soon I heard about it, total smoothbrain play by the publishers and we all know it'll be dead within the year. In the mean-time they will continue to exploit what little player-base they have. Question is, what's next? A No Man's Sky style directors cut or a straight up sequel a la Team Fortress, Overwatch, Battlefront etc?

My son beat the campaign in two days. Hates the end game stuff cause it’s so confusing and there is no payoff and everything is locked behind a pay wall. He just want to play the campaign over but can’t figure how to do that so he’s just given up and gone back to Spider-Man. That came from a 7yr old. Sad the horrible game choices otherwise ruined a game with some potential. They had Spider-Man to reference instead they followed anthem or Ubisoft with the paid skins

This is so much worse than Anthem. You have the Marvel IP, that's like the biggest booster in entertainment. On top of that, while Anthem was garbage, I don't recall the devs intentionally making the game worse as the game went on.

False advertising, promising they fix the product yet they never do and so on.
